I bought the fudge brownie flavor at the Vitamin Shoppe. It actually tastes very good, not at all bitter as some have said about the other flavors. Tastes more like Oreos than a fudge brownie. I read a review on another website telling me to buy the fudge brownie flavor and they were right on the money. The powder is very fine, the finest I've ever seen so I can't imagine a problem mixing it in water. But I put all of my protein powders in milk and use a blender so it's hard to say. This one mixes as well as Whey Tech and Nitrean and probably better than Muscle Milk. It's great price too, so it's a no brainer.
