This is the third one I've purchased (two were already in use in two separate cases doing a fantastic job). With having to care for vintage costume jewelry, these units are perfectly sized to fit in my showcases and not be an eyesore. Usually requiring a recharge every 2-3 weeks, I purchased the third so I never have a minute without one protecting my collection. Definitely great value considering what silica packs cost every 3 months. Anyone with a prized collection (whether it be paper, guns, gems or art) should seriously consider purchasing this product for smaller storage areas (safes, cabinets, etc).Product Review: Great Dehumidifier !!!

I bought this mini-dehumidifer to keep my gun safe nice and dry. It does just that. Before I put it in there, it was a little damp and I even started to get a little mold on some paper ammo boxes! Not cool. So after giving up on uncooked rice (which does work) I bought this little guy. I read some reviews where people said it was hard to tell when the unit needed to be recharged. I disagree with them. I had no trouble what so ever. When the indicator window is blue, good to go...when it turns pink, recharge. Cake! Note : I am using this in a small enclosed area (gun safe). I would not think that this unit could dehumidife a whole room. Though it says it's rated for 333 cubic feet of space.Product Review: Great Product

I like this method much better than the dehumidifiers that need to be charged in the oven for several hours.
Better technology in my opinion.
I would definitely recommend this.

I am using this in a small fireproof safe that was getting very damp and it has done a great job of keeping the moisture level down and it no longer smells musty.
