Product Review: i think it works

So I got the EDV-330 and a EDV-E-500 for my walk in closet and the basement. They both seem to take down the musty smell. I haven't plugged them in yet, but it does seem to be a little difficult to tell if the color has changed. The color window is barely pink. I'll wait a bit to watch it and if the color doesn't change, I'll just plug it in. Not a huge issue as the humidity does seem better, but not as easy to use as I'd hoped.

I bought this mini-dehumidifer to keep my gun safe nice and dry. It does just that. Before I put it in there, it was a little damp and I even started to get a little mold on some paper ammo boxes! Not cool. So after giving up on uncooked rice (which does work) I bought this little guy. I read some reviews where people said it was hard to tell when the unit needed to be recharged. I disagree with them. I had no trouble what so ever. When the indicator window is blue, good to go...when it turns pink, recharge. Cake! Note : I am using this in a small enclosed area (gun safe). I would not think that this unit could dehumidife a whole room. Though it says it's rated for 333 cubic feet of space. Product Review: GREAT PRODUCT FOR GUN SAFE

Before puting this product to use in a safe, i decided to put it out in the garage and watch it in action. After about two months, there does not appear to have any change in the color. I'm questioning if this product is working. It's possible I have not given this unit enough time to preform. I was expecting to have needed to recharge the dehumidifier after one or two months considering it's been sitting in a large three car garage....
