Customer Review: As advertised, but be aware of the kind of chair you're buying this for!
Summary: 4 Stars
Basically, my computer chair is of the executive style seat. This means that the back of my chair runs all the way from my neck area to my seat cushion. This seat pad is great, soft and definitely relieves stress off my butt. It also forces me to sit straight up.... Which unfortunately is a double edged sword.
Sitting straight up is definitely good, but the thickness of the cushion kind of prevents me from sitting all the way back in my chair, turning it into a sort of soft stool with arms. It has (as a result) gave me horrible lower back pain. I give the cushion a 4 stars still since my chair doesn't have much lumbar support as it is and i can't penalize this pad for that. I ended up buying a lumbar support attachment for my chair also so hopefully that helps.
If it doesn't however, I may have to reduce to 3 stars. Will update after I receive lumbar pad.
UPDATE:
Alright, I have my lumbar support and it has definitely helped my overall comfort in my chair. however, I can't say the opening for my coccyx relief is all that great. After extended period of time i find myself actually spinning the cushion around all together to avoid it. eh, it's alright.
final score is really about a 3.5/5, but i'll keep it a 4 just because it is comfy on my butt.
