I have a deviated septum, and I often use a nasal spray at night to help me fall asleep with all my breathing passages open. I absolutely detest the kind of nasal spray that's often called 12-hour, with oxymetazalone (sp?) in it, because I never seem to get adequate relief from that kind, and then I'm stuck waiting twelve hours before I can try again. I don't sleep for twelve hours, so this is really quite awful. This Nasal Four is phenylephrine, and it performs just fine. There's a Vick's brand pseudoephedrine nasal spray that is also 4-6 hours (like this one), but I think as long as you can use phenylephrine, like I can, you may as well. The second this liquid touches the inside of my nose, it starts making my nose open up. I have had some incredibly bad seasonal allergies, colds, and illnesses, and this stuff makes it possible to live. To feel like a normal human being. If you use it too much, you will experience "rebound," but not as bad as with the oxy stuff. Just read the box and don't exceed what they say to do.
