I had the original coil epilady for 18 years, and despite the pain (which I eventually got used to) it really worked well on my legs. The Epilady Legend Epilator has a few plusses over the original: it works on legs, underarm and bikini areas. It being rechargeable is a really nice perk, too! Finally, it is not as painful as the coil used to be. However, in the two times I have used it since its purchase, I have found it misses some hairs unlike the original coil. It could be that I still need to get used to it. The customer service at Epilady also is very helpful and suggested a slightly different angle be used to help get most of the hairs. Overall, it's a great product and I would purchase it again!
