I am a healthy normal weight and active adult, but I did have one problem. The problem was I would occasionally go through spells of constipation- I tried a lot of things and here is what I found;
1. Laxatives- Dangerous and can only be used in very short spans. Can be painful, simply a last measure. Just for emergencies.
2. Fiber mixes- These help, but only just a bit. Probably better for a colon cleanse. These don't really work for irregularity issues.
3. Other pills- I took a nature made herbal laxative and it was really just a mild form of laxative that your body adjusts to and doesn't work.
4. These pills- It's not the answer by itself, but they sure are by far the best. They also can be used long term. They are easy to take tiny pills (1 and done in the AM).

I had been purchasing this item at local pharmacies in the 30 pearls box for as much as 15 dollars a box. It really helps keep my digestive system behaving well ;-)
At Amazon.com, the price is fantastic, so that is where I now purchase them
Product Review: Set my digestion system right after antibiotics

I was having lots of stomach problems due to taking several rounds of heavy-duty antibiotics for a sinus infection. I had never had a problem with diarrhea before but I was reaching for Imodium 2 or 3 times a week. I had a friend recommend probiotics and I purchased these Pearls based on Amazon user recommendations. I am glad I did. The little round pills have caused no negative side effects and my problems have ceased. It only took a few days to notice a difference. I am going to continue to use these on a daily basis because they obviously benefit my digestive tract. Product Review: Excellent Vitamin

Excellent Vitamin!! My Doctor Highly recommend the Acidophilus Pearls. Especially the
Enzyamatic Therapy brand they don't have any yeast in them. My Candida level have always
been very high. Now with my last blood work they went down 1 point. And they will continue
to decrease !!! yeah!!
