This really does charge batteries in 15 minutes...yee hah! But unfortunatley, when I bought this charger, I had a LOT of Duracell NiMH batteries. This charger rejects nearly every Duracell NiMH battery inserted, even though they charge and work just fine in traditional chargers.
It charges my Energizer, Sony, and Kodak NiMH batteries quickly and efficiently. But the frustration of still having to charge the Duracells overnight lesses my excitement for this charger.

I learned that you have to let the batteries stay in for an extra 10 mins after the green light shows for a full charge. It sometimes "refuses" good batteries. One feature that I hate is the batteries fit so firmly in the charging station that it sometimes damages the batteries taking them out.Product Review: Disappointed at not receiving a world-traveller adapter

The product in itself is good and useful but only to those that travel within the US.
I bought this 'Rapid' charger for the reason that we travel a lot, all around the world and the voltage is 240 V in many countries. Often, when traveling there isn't enough time to charge camera cells for 4-8 hours as required by traditional chargers. So, this 15-30 minute charger is a boon in such cases.
But, this one was shipped with a US only adapter(CH15MN2-ADP-US - 100-127 V). Though Energizer also manufactures a world traveller adapter(CH15MN2-ADP-CA - 100-240 V) for this set of recharger, it is shipped only in Canada.
This should have been mentioned in the description of the product.

So even though I like to think I was into doing my part for the earth way before celebs made it trendy, I have only dabbled with rechargeable batteries some in the past. That could probably be because I didn't need batteries as often as I do now, but thanks to the advent of the Wii and other gadgets, I was happy to find this relatively inexpensive recharger at a local store.
Three separate charges and no dice. I can't even use the batteries for longer than 10 seconds at a stretch. I have tried moving to different plugs in my house, attempted different products, charged overnight, etc. One side is flashing green; the other side is completely blank. I even bought a new set of $10 batteries from Target the other day, believing the ones in the package were duds. Last night was the final straw. I recently bought the Wii Fit and was in the process of inputting my data to begin the program when the message on the screen informed me the batteries were critically low and the system would turn off until I refreshed them. Angry, I shut the Wii off and changed plugs again, only to discover this morning before I left for work, the batteries have not charged at all.
I wanted to see if I got a lemon---it happens, but after reading some of the reviews, I believe it's a problem with the actual equipment overall. This would be a great product...if it actually WORKED.
