Product Reviews of Endurox R4 Fruit Punch, 28 Servings

Product Review: Nice and Tasty
Summary: 4 Stars

This is my first time to use this product. I love it so much therefore I can't wait for the next workout. Taste good and mixing is quite easy. I like Tangy Orange more than I like Lemon Lime. I would definitely recomend this product to anyone.

Product Review: Old formula- WAY BETTER!
Summary: 3 Stars

I agree with a reviewer prior to me. The old formula was way better!! This new stuff has the same taste but it does not mix well at all. I am in the same boat, no matter how long i stir i still can't get some of it to dissolve so I end up drinking chunks powder.
Overall, it's a GREAT recovery drink. I am a marathon runner and have been using this stuff for about 6 years after my long runs.

Product Review: Pretty good stuff
Summary: 4 Stars

I'm trying something different instead of the P90X recovery drink. I honestly can't tell much difference between these drinks as far as how they actually work (as far as alleviating soreness, for example). I've found that drinking protein an hour or so before I work out is a bigger help than a recovery drink. It seems like the P90X drink helps a little more with soreness than the Endurox, but it's really hard to say that definitively. Both drinks are very expensive.

As for taste, the Endurox tastes much more like Gatorade or Powerade. It's a more sour, sharp, and less sweet taste, whereas the P90X recovery drink is sweet, like an orange creamsicle. Endurox R4 is almost like what lime koolaid used to taste like if you didn't put enough sugar in it. I kind of prefer the Endurox's taste to the P90X drink; I've only tried the lime. Some have complained about the Endurox not mixing as well as it used to. I have not found the chunks to be a problem when using a BlenderBottle. The P90X drink blends slightly better, but the Endurox is more than adequate in this area.

Product Review: Prevents soarness
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this on the advice of my friend who regularly runs marathons and has for years. She discovered it during her college years running track. I started using it after tough weight sessions and runs. I like the taste and it mixes well. I bring a water bottle with crushed ice and water and add in the powder after my work out. Shake and it is a good tasting and refreshing drink. I think the fruit punch is plenty sweet-like OJ not soda sweet. It has a tangy flavor as well. But the BEST thing is that it truly does prevent soreness after a hard workout. Worth every penny.

Product Review: Product good, but taste...
Summary: 3 Stars

I like Endurox R4. I've tried a couple of flavors now. I've been happy so far, but the Fruit Punch is not good. I expected a sort of Gatorade taste, but instead it reminds me of Pepto-Bismol. I guess I'm going to have to choke down a tub of this stuff...ugh.
