Product Review: Great recovery drink.

So far so good. It restores my energy quickly and I rarely feel any soreness the next day. Fruit punch tastes pretty good, but is very sweet. I'll buy again, but I'll try a different flavor. I recommend this for those doing P90X or similar workouts but don't want to pay the price for that company's recovery drink.Product Review: Great tasting & good recovery

Endurox R4 works very well as a recovery drink. I look forward to it after my P90x workouts! I've tried both the Lemon-Lime and now the Fruit Punch varieties. I do think I like the lemon-lime a little better, but both are very good. Buying in the 4.63 lb containers is a far better deal than going to GNC.
Try it! I think you'll like it. It definitely helps keep you from getting sore after those killer workouts.

Looking at the calories, sugar and Cholesterol seems to be quite high. This would almost work in reverse due the calories and sugar.

I finally started to pay more attention to the recovery part of marathon training and bought a couple cannisters of Endurox to see if I would even notice anything. I DEFINITELY DID. First of all, after a 20 mile run I don't really feel like eating too many things. The good taste, hydration benefits and refreshing way to get some badly needed calories down were HUGE benefits. It's hard to say exactly how much it helps because no two workouts are ever the same, but when I did not have the Endurox I was left sluggish and usually sore the next day. At 270 Calories per serving, I don't think it's meant for use after a 3 mile run, but for long runs and/or intense weight training this is a recovery aid I will continue to use!Product Review: It really works!

I first tried this product after ready "Optimal Muscle Recovery", purchased on Amazon. I was amazed at how it reduced muscle soreness on the day after my workouts. I told friends, who laughed, but later tried Endurox R4 and now swear by it.
