It works. Yes it hurts, but like others said, we don' really have any painless way of removing hair by the root. Shaving and depilatory creams don't remove from the root, and shaving causes stubble. The creams can cause burns and the chemicals are probable really bad for you. Speaking for myself, I can not even find all the little fine hairs on the upper lip with regular tweezers, not to mention I'd be in front of the mirror all day if I could. It is also simply not true that it doesn't work for the longer individual sparse hairs on the chin. I think it works best for those. It can be used without a mirror anywhere you want. The biggest piece of advice is that the pain goes away as the nerves get numb if you don't pull it off after each pluck because you wince in pain. I recommend just keeping it there to remove the hairs in that area and soon you will not feel it. This applies most for the upper lip. Bottom line- it is the best method I have found for ease of use, amount of hair removal, and length of time hair is gone. There is no stubble afterward and the only problem I ever have is redness, as I have sensitive skin.Product Review: LOVE IT!

I absolutely love this product! Unlike some other commenters, I think it is VERY easy to clean. Pop off the plastic protector top and either give it a good hard "blow", or use the little brush that comes with it.
I don't think the word "hurt" is appropriate. The only place I find painful is above the lips, but I put up with it because hand-tweezing is even more painful. The feeling is a little "Oh!" at first, but it happens so fast that you kind of get to the point where you say "Woo! another one - Gotcha!" It gets hairs I can't even see, including those really fine hairs on the cheek.
The first time I used it, I had LOTS of hair and wasn't used to the feeling, so take it slow and easy the first time or two until you get used to it. Now that I've used it for a couple of months it only "gets" a few hairs. I use it a few times a week just because I like that smooth as silk feeling. It does the job very quickly!
The first one I bought worked great until I went to change the batteries and I think I did something to the little springs in the battery department because it wouldn't work. I returned it and now have a new one and I am more careful when I change the batteries.
I have only used it on my face so can't speak for the legs. I would think it would take a long time on the legs because the head is very small. Don't yet understand how it works to pull those suckers out by the roots, but it does and that's all I care about!

Creams were no longer working (and causing incredible irritation) on my upper lip so I decided to try the tweezer. It's great. After the first few uses there is no pain or redness so I can use it anytime and the results last for weeks. I had my sisters try it and they each bought one to use on upper lip and chin and they both love it too!Product Review: Love it!

I absolutely love the Tweeze. It works like an electric razor but, because it is pulling out the hairs rather than cutting them, there is never any stubble. Never! None! I love it! I have already given two Tweezes as gifts and have heard nothing but positive feedback. I am so happy to have found the Tweeze.
