Product Review: Migraine Headaches

I can't even guess how this product will work for you, but for me, it's wonderful. I had eliminated known migraine triggers from my diet several years ago, but was still being pounded by migraine clusters. I have gone from having 14 (yes fourteen) migraines a month, to having one or none. I've tried Emerita for 6 months. I'm postmenopausal, so I use if all but 5 days a month. If I do this I have no migraines, and surprise surprise, no yen for chocolate (?!). I did get over confident and ate some Chinese take-out known for the 'vat of MSG' they dump in their food. I did get a migraine after that. So it's not going to cure bad food choices on your part. For me this is great stuff, I had so many migraines that even after taking the powerful anti-migraine medication my brain felt bruised all month and I was groggy. My medical doctor is very interested in this product and has carried off the box the two times I have seen her since starting my use of Emerita. Very pleased. I would recommend this product to anyone past child bearing age but do check with your doctor.

I had suddenly been hit with migraines/headaches after my second daughter was born. It had gotten to the point where I had a daily headache or migraine and was miserable. I didn't have much luck with traditional migraine prescriptions. My migraines got more and more frequent and the medications were becoming less effective. I tried this cream and almost immediately my migraines became very infrequent. This easy to use simple product has literally changed my life!! I am very thankful and hope that it can help others with hormone induced headache and migraines!!

For a year and a half, I experienced pretty serious menopause symptoms. I was miserable and desperate. Recently I picked up a copy of "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause" by John R. Lee, MD and started to learn about progesterone supplementation. I spent a lot of time educating myself through other sources as well. Eventually I decided to try Pro-Gest. Within days the hot flashes STOPPED. I will admit that for the first couple weeks I was vaguely aware of what may have passed for a very, very mild version of a hot flash, but NOTHING like the real deal. By the end of the third week, I found myself more energetic and better able to concentrate. Because I feel so much better, I am a lot happier. I am starting to remember what I used to be like! My family is thrilled and so am I. Don't tell the manufacturer, but this stuff is worth five times the cost. I bought 4 tubes for friends and have subscribed so that I won't ever accidently run out. I love it. Read Dr. Lee's book, he does a great job of explaining why progesterone deficiency/estrogen dominance causes so many problems. I suppose it is worth noting that I am in good health otherwise, normal weight, active lifestyle, and I follow a helathy diet. I am following Dr. Lee's "Hormone Balancing Program" outlined in his book including his recommended vitamin regimen. I have no question that the Pro-Gest (maybe in conjunction with the vitamin supplements) is what has turned my life around. It is worth a try. Since Ive had my hysterectomy in 2006 with Uterine cancer I lost all my ability to have soft,
creamy, elastistic skin with moisture. I became overnight hot and cold. I had mood swings and difficulty thinking.
I began to lose my youthful look and the ability to tan. I was not a happy camper. so...after some research and reading I found that one could use progesterone creme to help with all the above. Now I dont tan as well and I actually will get red some but I limit my exposure to shorter times out in the sun.( Ilike and need the vitamin D3 our bodies uses to heal and stay healthy.)
I wear this twice a day for 3 weeks then a week off. (I do use high grade pure fish oil from Metagenics) and some black cohosh to help with the above.) I did try however not using the creme to see if it made a difference on my skin...WOW! was I surprised. I became a piece of sandpaper, itchy, scaly, dry, my hair was noticebly different. I felt off balance....so after a couple months off the progesterone creme I went back on it.
WHAT A DIFFERENCE, ITS LIKE NIGHT AND DAY....I LOVE THIS STUFF, AND BOY DOES IT WORK FOR ME!!!!
I cant rate this highly enough. Im sure everyone is different but I dont want to run out of it thats for sure!
I cant take sythetic hormones, so, Natural was the only way for me....not that I want to take harch chemicals that induce cancers and effect my body.
so...hope this helps someone out there...Its worth a try!
