This review follows the same tone as my "Sinus Mask" review. It fits comfortably and conforms nicely. It is puncture proof and easily adjustable. My only complaint is that it only last about 15 minutes. If you enjoy a cool relaxing feeling you have the right product, as it does not totally freeze and shock your skin. It does not lump up as do most other brands of gel ice packs.Product Review: Good, but not a panacea

It's not exactly how it looks in the picture. There are no "ears" that come up to the jaw and it's flatter. But does it work you ask? Well, I bought it for a hot pack and it does get plenty hot in the micro and it holds some heat for a half hour or so. And it's weighty so it lays flat against the back of your neck and spine. But the velcro closure in the front gets pretty hot so I don't close it unless it's cooled some. It's nice that you can wear it while you move around without it falling off. I think it's better than anything else I have. Haven't tried it as a cold pack because I already have some very good alternatives. I would recommend it. It's better than a neck buddy that smells like an old sock. There's no odor with this one!Product Review: Good, but too big for small necks (less or equal to 15")

I have cervical stenosis and my physical therapist recommended an ice pack to provide pain relief for my neck. I found that trasditional ice packs were difficult to use and impossible to move around while using. This therapeutic cervical collar can be used hot or cold and is easy to use while relaxing or moving about.Product Review: Great cool relief

I love the shape of the Elasto-Gel cervical collar and how it molds so nicely to the neck. It is completely flexible and provides nice relief.
I have used this item only as a cooler. I keep it in my freezer (in the baggie that comes with it) and use it when needed. The coolness only lasts for about 20 minutes but it is very soothing for inflammation of the neck (like a slipped disc which is what I have). This is not an ice pack, so it will not freeze the skin. It can also be used for heat--but I do not use it for that purpose and cannot speak about it.
As a neck cooler, I love it and am considering getting multiple collars that I can switch out. Very soothing and comforting also for MS (which I also have) during those times when I am overheating a bit. I just ordered the mask as well and have used this on my forehead for headaches. Extremely comfortable and easy to fit.
