Product Review: Too good to be true...!! This stuff is great!

I was hesitant about switching from Cascade, which I've used for years and my mom used before that... but after reading all the glowing reviews on here I decided to give Ecover a try. WOW. This stuff works great. I think it might even be better than Cascade... one little tablet and even dried-on foods are washed off.

I can't think of a downside.. I haven't calculated the price of this vs Cascade. But I wholeheartedly recommend this product. EXCELLENT.

I have been on a mission to find eco-friendly products for my home. For this review, I was interested in finding a dishwashing detergent that did not blast chlorine steam into my kitchen during the dry cycle. I researched the reviews here on Amazon and chose Ecover dishwasher tablets. I am truly amazed that my dishes are cleaner than ever, and actually shine - it also seems to have cleaned my dishwasher, because it no longer has the dark scum that I have to wipe out of the soap dispenser and around the edges of the dishwasher. Since my dishes and my dishwasher are so clean, my assumption is that Ecover does not leave any nasty chemical residues behind. For those of you who would like to know, I have well water (pH corrected). I am NOT going back to my other brands.

Update: Ecover tabs do not seem to get black tea stains out of my cups. It is a minor irritation for me (being green is more important), but worth noting in the event that this is important to some people. I now drink green tea, so this is not even an issue for me anymore, since green tea doesn't stain.

Have ordered these dish tabs over and over again; great product without a single drawback. Clean, spotfree dishes without the harsh chemical residue left by other name brand detergent. Feel much better knowing my food isn't contaminated by chemical residue! Great product!

This is the worst product. It leaves a greasy film on dishes and glasses. Things do not come out clean at all. We always rinse all the dishes before they go in the dishwasher, so we've never had this issue with any other product. Yuck!! I'm not even that picky... trust me, but this product is going back to Amazon.
