Product Review: Actually cleans the first time!

I've tried several environmentally friendly dishwasher detergents and this one actually cleans and does a great at it. Quick and easy to use. The only drawback is the plastic each tab is packaged in.Product Review: As good as everyone else says

We love this stuff. Amazon doesn't always seem to keep it in stock. Maybe they're selling more of it than I think?
Anyway, this deserves all the five star ratings. Excellent product! As good as any detergent I've ever used, for sure!
Product Review: As good or better than other non-green alternatives

In an effort to "go green" and support eco-conscious companies I started looking for a replacement to the Electrosol dishwasher tablets that we had been using. We started with Seventh Generation Automatic Dishwasher Powder, Free & Clear, 75-Ounces Boxes, Case Pack, (Pack of 8); this product was a disaster and left a heavy white film on all of our dishes. Next I tried these Ecover dishwashing tablets; wow these are awesome!
The Ecover dishwashing tablets are easy to use, just like the Electrosol ones. And these really work well. They dishes always come out sparkling clean. Even with the Electrosol we have to use a rinse aid to keep the dishes looking sparkly, not so with the Ecover. No rinse aid needed. I was actually planning on trying Ecover Rinse Aid, 16-Ounce Bottle (Pack of 6) too, but I haven't needed to because the tablets do such a nice job all on their own.
I highly recommend these tablets. Although I don't recommend buying them for $69.99 for a 5 pack; that is about twice the cost of buying them at Whole Foods or buying online at drugstore.com
Hopefully Amazon will find a better place to source these from so that I can buy them through here in the future.

I have tried many different types of dishwasher detergent with only semi good results. When we got a new dishwasher we got the king that grinds up the food. It was better but still not perfectly clean. The best was Cascade Complete but we still had problems with etching. Not good. In an effort to be more sustainable I started trying eco-friendly products. I bought Ecover tablets based solely on the reviews and wow! My dishes come out perfect now! No etching and with some vinegar in the spot rinse dispenser my dishes now come out better than ever. My only complaint is that this product is not always in stock.Product Review: Clean AND safe!

After reading so much about how dishwashing soaps contain some of the nastiest chemicals that leave an invisible residue on your dishes, I wanted to find something that would be safe to use on the dishes that we eat off of every single day. I have not been disappointed with these dishwashing tablets!! They do just as good of a job as Electasol tablets and Dawn gel packs (what we were using previously). My dishes come out perfect, but if they aren't shiny enough for you, you could always add vinegar to the rinse aid dispenser. The smell of this soap is not overpowering, just a gentle clean smell. And I don't have to worry about my kids ingesting the nasty chemicals that other dishwashing soaps leave on dishes!
