These tablets consistently clean well in my older dishwasher and local hard water. I have had problems with detergent residue or poor cleaning with many leading brands (conventional and earth friendly), but always get good results with Ecover. These tablets work great! I use to always wash my kids sippy cups by hand cause I never liked the idea of chemical residue on their cups, plates, bowls, etc. So I decided to try the natural dishwasher detergents but never found one that does not leave a white film on all the dishes until now! These really clean the dishes nicely and I Don't have to worry about the chemicals.Product Review: hit and miss

This dishwasher tablet is a success 80% of the time. Dishes must be rinsed well, before putting them into the washer. The machine has to be run at a high temperature. Otherwise, glasses have white film. With the extra rinsing and hot water, how "environmental friendly" is this product?Product Review: the best Green dish washing tablet out there.

my experiences with ecover products far exceed the experiences with seventh generation. This product cleans without residue and no fragrance, unlike 7th generation that leaves my dishes smelling like a toilet bowl. Cuts through the grease and crusts - we just love this product. Also, the packaging is very green than dealing with more plastic. We still have a full bottle of 7th generation and I will use it for our toilets! We have tried many green tablet forms and this by far exceed them all. We have been using this product for over 2 years now and would not switch it to anything else. So glad Amazon is supporting this product.

I have to start by saying that I have never used any other dishwasher detergent. I have only had a dishwasher for about 8 months and I saw these in my local grocery store when I was first looking for detergent and I was interested in something environmentally friendly, especially since we have a septic system. I decided to give these tablets a try and I have never been disapointed. My dishes always come out shiny and clean and I have even gotten compliments from guests about how clean my utensils are. I have no reason to switch and am very pleased with Ecover tabs.
