I bought one for myself and one for my husband thinking it would be great to use particularly at our work where the water isn't the cleanest. But it takes a lot of effort to get the water up through the straw every time, a lot. This product might make more sense for a hiker. I'd rather pour water through a filter and drink it easily, than have to suck it through a filter every time I'm thirsty. I still use it occasionally, but my husband refuses to use his now. And I agree with the user that said you don't know when it is time to change the filter.
