Product Review: A great basic bathroom scale

The last time I bought a bathroom scale was about 12 years ago. Well, that sorry thing was starting to show it's age and it's analog nature seemed positively antiquated in such a modern age (and for such a gadget freak like me). So I did a cursory search on amazon, saw the great reviews and, like the sheep I am, bought it. Well, it's great! Easy to turn on, stylish, fast results, and a bright easy-to-read display means that we'll probably use this scale for the next 12 years.
So why only four stars instead of five? Well, like other reviewers said, it can be a bit finicky to turn on (though I think I've figured out the "Fonzy" toe-tap required to nail it the first time). And it doesn't rest in an upright position as nicely as our old clunker, which means we need to keep it flat on the floor. Other than these two minor things, it's a great value!

We've had a bathroom scale for a few years and were ready for a replacement. My husband and I have been very happy with our EatSmart bathroom scale after receiving it in the mail at the beginning of January.
1) We appreciated that EatSmart included batteries with the scale. It's the little things, including free batteries, that make your day sometimes.
2) Our old scale required you do to the pre-tap to turn it on to get an accurate reading. With the EatSmart scale, you just hop on it and get weighing. No waiting. Love that.
3) The blue backlighting is a fabulous touch. The read out is great on this product.
4) The scale is consistant. I don't question its accuracy.
5) I think it's a good deal for what you pay - especially compared to other scales on the market in this price range.
Overall, a solid product. Thanks EatSmart.

What I wanted in a new scale was 1) accuracy, 2) easy to read and 3) stylish for my bathroom. While I may close my eyes and take a deep breathe before I step on it, when I open my eyes this pretty, stylish scale does accurately tell me if I ate too much at Thanksgiving and it makes it real easy for me to see that!! I am so pleased with the EatSmart Scale!! There's no getting away with ANYTHING!! It tells it like it is. The backlit screen makes it easy to read. The sleek style looks so much nicer than the big clunky metal scale I used to have. Way to go!!Product Review: A great scale

Wow, this is a great product. We had a conventional, non-electronic scale that we had to constantly recalibrate. I would get on the scale, weigh myself, step off, and back on and it was a different weight. This scale is consistent to the tenth of a pound. I'll get off and step back on and it's the exact same weight. It fits my foot size (10.5) comfortably. It's also very solid and stable - the pads on the four corners sit flat so there's no wobble.
I also love the look of it - it's stylish and inconspicuous, whereas the last one looked like it belonged in a doctor's office.
Lastly, the price of this scale is so affordable. You totally get more than you pay for!
