Product Review: A good looking scale with reasonably accurate readings

This scale is one hell of a looker. I am proud of it and it didn't cost me a fortune. What i really use a scale is for telling me the variations in my body weight, not really what my exact weight is. So as long as the scale gives me consistent readings, I am happy. Most of the time this scale gives me the same readings when measuring 3 or 4 times in a row. But sometimes, I've noticed that after the display goes off and I try again, my weight changes by .2 lbs plus or minus. This variation is acceptable to me and also doesn't happen all too often. So I'm pretty happy with the purchase.Product Review: A good scale

It seems that making a scale shouldn't be that hard. I think that most companies haven't looked at the experience in detail. EatSmart spent a little extra time, and fixed the little things. Being able to just jump on the scale. . .how quickly it measures. . and its accuracy. Works great!

Honestly I was worried because, hey, i'm heavy. I need a scale that takes heavy weights, and even the doctor scales only go up to 350.
I stepped on this scale, and it didn't break, and it gave me an accurate weight reading.
I even got a free measuring tape in the package (which is funny cause I ordered one seperately too, if I knew that I wouldn't have ordered).

I liked this scale as soon as I took it out of the box. Ibought other scales but none were like this one. The large display is great and a change from squinting at the reading on some others I've purchased . For some reason it helps me enjoy being on a diet and looking forward to mark my weight loss. After not having a bathroom scale for several years, I did some searching on Amazon for a decent scale that was not "Wal-Mart" quality. I came across this scale and the overwhelming number of positive reviews was the biggest selling point.
I have not been disappointed - the scale starts up with a firm tap to the middle of the top of the scale, the display is brightly lit and can easily be read, even by a blind guy like myself. And, the scale looks good! I couldn't be more satisfied - a fine and well-made product.
