I bought this Bath scale on the rating of previous customers and must say I am not disappointed. It arrived in perfect shape ready to use. We like the large back lit numbers and the consistent accuracy. We like to buy well made American products instead of the imported junk and this product is first class. We highly recommend this company's product if you want quality at an affordable price.

The scale both works well, looks nice, and is affordably priced--key elements of a excellent product. Yet, what really impressed me was EatSmart's commitment to produce a quality product and customer experience. At first, I read early reviews commenting about the "tap-on" feature had problems. Then after further reading, I was surprised to see how promptly the company not only resolved the customer service issue, but also improved the product by making the scale "step-on" (much more convenient in my opinion). On top of that, I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the company sent me an email requesting my feedback on this product. If this company is really a "small business," as they claim in the email, they wont be one for long if all their products are the same quality as this bathroom scale and if they maintain this excellent level of customer service. I bought a "Health-0-Meter" several years ago because it was digital and had good ratings. I did not like it because the readings were not consistent, even within a few seconds of each other. And the difference could be plus or minus 5# or more. With fear and trepidation I bought this EatSmart because of ITS good reviews.
First off: the shipping was quick via US Mail. I fight with the UPS man to get my packages actually to ME and not a neighbor, so USPS was a nice surprise.
The EarSmart scale sits in one place in the bathroom and cranks out consistent readings. I am very IMPRESSED. It is so consistent that I am having fun weighing packages for shipment with it by first weighing me and then getting back on with the package. Works great. The bright blue back lit screen lights up my bathroom at night. I can weight myself and then eat dinner and see how much I gained just due to food. Other games like that. I am very pleased.
The only downside is that being clear it shows up the dust bunnies that hide under it thinking they are safe from the broom.

I have had a Weight Watchers scale for a couple years that tells body mass, etc., etc. The scale is accurate, but all the extra data was meaningless to me. However, I needed a second scale for our house. The EatSmart Scale is great. No "tap first" to get it to come on. The display is much easier to see than the WW scale. I weighed numerous times with the two scales next to each other. They were consistently different by only 2/10's of a pound each time, always in the same direction, so I am confident that the EatSmart scale is accurate. "Try it. You'll like it!"
