Product Review: 1st scale was defective - updated one works good

I bought this scale based on the good reviews, I wish I had not. I stepped on the scale about 20 times in few minutes time and never got the same reading twice and the difference was 4-5 lbs on average.
Update:
I recently got the updated version of the original scale and I am very pleased with it. The scale gives consistent readings of my weight no matter how many time I stepped on it.

This scale is not only great to look at, but it is undeniably accurate. The bright light and big numbers make reading the scale easy as well.
I only have 1 complaint - other than the first time that I used it, it does not just turn on when you touch it. I have to nudge it or pick it up with my foot for it to turn on - which can become a little frustrating.
Other than that - i love it!

This scale is beautiful to look at. But it's also a scale that works better than any I've ever seen. It has a precision readout to 0.1 pound and is repeatable. You get on the scale and it quickly gives a readout. Get off and back on again and you get the same number. Repeatable!
The way it self-calibrates when it needs to makes it easier to use than my previous scale that required pressing a button, waiting, and then weighing.
A great product! Five stars aren't enough!

Although the product did come at its promised time, it was clearly packaged incorrectly and was damaged in shipping. The box had multiple holes in it and the product wasn't even cushioned. It doesn't even work! I usually have nothing but positive things to say about amazon but they really dropped the ball on this one. Its a good thing the customer service at EatSmart is so great. I called and got an actual person right away, not some automated answering system. He even called me back to confirmed the correct address. They're sending me a brand new replacement scale. Ill update my review once it comes in. For great customer service, which is hard to find these days, I give EatSmart 5 stars!

It just arrived via FedEx and it works beautifully. No frills no bells or whistles. Just step on, weigh in, step off. The numbers are clear and bold. No having to squint and lean to see properly. Honestly the best scale Ive ever owned.

I know it is very accurate, plus the scale is small but large enough to stand on even with my large feet, and so easy to read even without my glasses, I recommend it to everyone.
