This is my first weight scale for my wife. After two week of usage, love it more and more. At first,I can't feel good with the tap-to-show function like others complained with, I can only lift the scale to let it show. But after some days of using, I found that I can let it show by taping the scale heavily, with the time going on, it seems the strength I tapping also become less to let it show. I compared this scale to my neighbor's, except the display size is not larger as my neighbor's, everything else I feel is better than their's. Especially that my scale can even weight for less than 3lb,while my neighbor's even can't display it. Also this scale is much accurate, I even compared it with my postage scale which can show the oz weight, they both give the similar results with a difference of less than 0.3 lb.
So I am very happy to buy this scale for a little bit more money than the others, it seems is well worth the money. Now my wife use it to monitor her weight several times using the scale, since she is pregnant, so happy is she with it.

The first scale I received was defective- wouldn't turn on. I called the company and the OWNER picked up. No frustrating automated customer service loop here. He asked me a few questions, then promised to send a new scale. I didn't even have to return the broken one, and they shipped it the same day I called. The new scale works perfectly, and overall it was an extremely refreshing experience. I highly recommend both this product and the company- you can't go wrong with them.Product Review: A+++++++ Scale

I had a very large Taylor scale. It was hard to determine how much I really weighed. The needle would move.....but, THE EATSMART PRECISION DIGITAL SCALE is just what the name says....PRECISION. I like the big numbers, I like the lighted background, I like seeing if I lost or gained .20 or .40 lbs overnight. I know I am not supposed to weigh everyday, but I like this scale so much it has become addictive...like chocolate. I have to get on this scale...several times a day. Okay, go ahead and laugh, but it is true. I am totally in love with this scale...and you will be too. It has a sleek design and doesn't look like those chunky old manual scales. This is my first digital scale and it works great for me. It has been accurate after numerous daily "tests." The light and large numbers are very helpful to my dim eyesight in my dim bathroom. To make it start up I give it a sharp tap on the side, not on the top surface. This has worked every time. The EatSmart Digital scale is SO MUCH better than the old analog ones. You won't be wasting your money if you buy it.
