Product Reviews of Easy Reach Lotion Applicator - A13058Product Review: Better Buy Summary: 4 Stars
This applicator is worth the price. They have many cheaper ones out there, but in the long run, this is the best buy.
1) The surface area is larger and covers more. The pad is about 5 inches long.
2) The handle is 19" long, and sturdy. The cheaper ones are only 12" long and have flimsy handles. It make the middle back easier to reach. This handle will not bend so you can really rub the lotion/creams into your back/legs/feet.
3)The foam is washable and non-absorbent, so you don't need to constantly buy replacement pads.
I have two, one for my lotions and one to apply ointments. I put a spot of color on one handle so I could tell the difference between them. You are able to wash the non-absorbent foam, but I like having a separate applicator for both.
Product Review: COVER SEAMS CAME APART Summary: 1 Stars
I used this to put sun screen on my back. I had trouble getting it to smooth the lotion on. I am not sure exactly why. Before I could figure it out the plastic cover came loose at the seams and the sponge started protruding. I think I used it a little over a month, maybe 25 times. I guess I will try the roller one next.
Product Review: Easy Reach Lotion Applicator Summary: 5 Stars
Seemed to work pretty well. It's good for single person esp. if you have to get lotion to the unreachable parts of your back. It is light enough to carry on travels.
Product Review: Easy Reach Lotion Applicator Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this Easy Reach applicator by Active Forever as a replacement for the commonly sold one with sponge refill, ribbed end. I picked this one over the type with the floating balls, which you fill with lotion, because I wanted control over how much lotion was dispensed. My objection to the sponge type was that after a few days of applying lotion with it, the sponge became saturated causing the adhesive to loosen and the sponge to fall off. I had bought the sponge refills at a store for about $2 a piece so having one last less than a week was not acceptable. My Easy Reach applicator is superior to the sponge type in all aspects except one. I prefer the feel of the sponge on my skin to this plastic cover, but this plastic is certainly okay. The upsides to this applicator versus the sponge type are:
1. This applicator is about 19 inches long - about 5 inches longer than the other - which is important for the hard to reach parts of the back.
2. Having a non-absorbent applicator means all lotion/ointment gets rubbed into the skin rather than have some fill a sponge.
3. In addition to the handle being longer, the application surface itself is about 5 times bigger and therefore covers a much larger area.
4. It's far cheaper in the long run than continually having to replace the sponge refill.
I find this a better applicator for those 4 reasons. And after using it for several weeks, I am very satisfied with it.
Product Review: Extend your arms! Summary: 5 Stars
This lotion applicator can help you reach literally every square inch of your body. The smooth surface doesn't help you rub in the lotion, but it is porous enough to let your spread the lotion evenly. I bought it after surgery, but will keep using it, especially for sunscreen next year.
