Product Reviews of Earthly Body Dreamsicle Natural Soy Suntouched Candle With HempProduct Review: poor candle, best massage oil I have used Summary: 4 Stars
I have been a full-time massage therapist 13 years, using only natural plant oils.
As a candle, it smokes too much, polluting a massage room, so not good for a small room for an hour or more. As a candle, this would be fine for a larger room. It takes a good hour to melt enough to make liquid warm oil that you could use for massage, but it is soft enough that you could dig some out with your fingertips-- halfway between a wax and butter consistency.
The smell of this oil is divine, and I am very particular about scents in oil! [I have experimented with many aromatherapy oils of highest grade dillute into massage oil, and could never find a combination that I could stand for long.]
As a massage oil for a therapeutic massage, the thickness is perfect. After I stopped using the first one because of the smoke, I just melted the candle on the stove and poured it into bottles for massage oil. But then it is too thich to pour, so I dilluted it with grapeseed for a thick, pourable oil that is perfect consistency.
