Product Review: Wanted to love it, but...

I really, really wanted to love this natural dishwasher detergent, but it leaves a cloudy film and food smears on everything. It was so bad that I thought maybe there was something wrong with the dishwasher. Plus, the water that I used to pre-wash all the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher completely defeated the purpose of trying to be green with this detergent. I used Kirkland brand liquid gel before, and I've definitely switched back. It's phosphate-free, safe for septics, cheap and effective. Fortunately, the Kirkland brand was able to wash all the leftover smears and film from the Wave detergent.Product Review: not worth the price

I have a box of this stuff and am going to take it back to the store for a refund. I have used it as directed and it is not working. Leaves food on the dishes (even after I've pre-rinsed pretty well) and a white film on the glass. Even the silverware has a dull look. Nothing seems as clean a normal, or as clean as hand-washing would do. I love the idea of Earth-friendly, non-toxic cleaners .... but not of they don't do the job.
