I have found this product alone cleans more effectively than the leading name brand detergents, has a light pleasant scent to it and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. I don't use softner because of my skin but have found that it's not even needed with this detergent.Product Review: Faded my clothes

I bought this detergent at Sam's Club after being stopped at a store display promotion. I probably would have never bought it otherwise. I loved that it was all natural and gentle and it had a lavender fragrance. I wanted to love it, but I didn't expect it to fade my clothes! I'm disappointed. I washed a brand new pair of dark slacks and a brand new baby outfit and both are now faded. Back to Sam's it goes.Product Review: Good Stuff!

This detergent has a *very* light fragrance (the lavender scent is a pleasant herbal smell not "flowery" at all). The built-in fabric softener softens nominally and it does *not* prevent static cling! After drying, it's hard to smell the lavender fragrance at all. I'd say it's a great laundry detergent, but you'll need a separate fabric softener (especially in winter!).Product Review: Great Product

This is my favorite laundry detergent. Several of us in my family have sensitive skin and have to be careful of detergents. We've had no itching or other reactions to this detergent. The fragrance is barely noticeable once the clothes have dried. It cleans as well as any other detergent I've tried. I use it for everything from hand washable sweaters to throw rugs. I have moderately hard well water and a HE front loader. I just use slightly more detergent, add borax, or use the soak cycle with hot water when washing heavily soiled loads such as gardening clothes, the dogs' towels or pet bedding. It's also much cheaper than other liquid detergents and there is no need for an additional fabric softener.Product Review: Great detergent and good price

I love this detergent - does a good job and smells nice. I don't use any fabric softener with this product - no need. Most important is that I don't have to worry about nasty chemicals that most detergents are loaded with. I had tried this type of detergent with lemongrass smell, but lavender is so much nicer. I have this detergent on autoship.
