Product Review: Does NOT work on hair

The instruction says use 2 tsp every week per drain. I was curious to see if it actually eats my hair and it does NOT. I dissolved 1 tsp of this product into a container and threw 5 pieces of my hair into the solution. Volume of my hair did not decrease overnight.
I am using this product in my kitchen sink religiously every week for a year and I have not experienced any clogs.

Followed the instructions to the letter and somehow the drain is clogged worse than before. I think that when I saw this product it had no star rating on it and I decided to take a chance. It's just logical. What causes drain problems? Organic residue. Enzymes disolve organic residue. My problem was my shower. This product is fantastic as a maintainer of an open drain. Haven't had a problem since I started using this about 3 yrs ago. This is a great product. I have no problems with any of my drains. I wanted to share our experience, since I was just as skeptical as many others about this product's ability to get the job done. We have had a very, very slow bathtub drain for several weeks that was almost to the point of being clogged completely. I followed the directions for a 24 hour treatment, and then.... nothing. So, I figured I'd try another 24 hour treatment, and then.... nothing. But wait, there's more! About a day and a half AFTER the last treatment,it worked! I am going to purchase more in order to maintain the drain every once in a while. But for us at least, it seems patience paid off. I am glad, too, because I like this planet the last thing I wanted to do was pour harsh chemicals down the drain.Product Review: Impressed!

Wow, I am impressed! This really did work. I was a little skeptical, but I figured it would be worth a try. I have to admit, I did not follow the instructions on the packaging. I made a saturated solution using warm water and poured it down my kitchen sink. Then I only waited 12 hours before running some hot water down the drain to see if it worked. At first it didn't appear to be draining better, but as the water went through and flushed out the pipes, I could really see the difference. Since this is an enzyme cleaner that works by digesting food and fat particles, I wouldn't recommend this for clogs caused by hair, but it worked great in the kitchen sink! AND there was no nasty chemical smell left behind!
