This is a GREAT little hand vac for cleaning up messes inbetween pulling out the big vac. I have an Oreck which I paid over $800.00 for and this little vac picks up my cats litter and the Oreck does not.It picks up dry cat foods, cat hair and cat litter. I can't say my Oreck can. You still need your big vac due to the little one being 12 v but I sure give it a high rating. Electorlux is know for making good products. I have had this vacuum for about 6 weeks and love it. With 2 toddlers and a dog we have no shortage of crumbs, messes and dog hair. It works very well on the hardwood floors and I am very impressed with how close it picks up near the edges of the cabinets and trim boards. I also use it on the rug under our kitchen table and it works great. The hand-held vacuum works well for cleaning up messes on the furniture. Clean-up is very simple. The filters are easy to remove and empty. One of my favorite things is that you can rinse the filters with warm water, let them dry overnight and they are ready to go the next day.Product Review: Great portable vacuum cleaner

I bought the ErgoRapido less than a year ago and it was a wonderful vacuum for my pergo floors. Recently, however, it started acting up....like not turning off, until it just completely gave up on me a few days ago. For $90 it should last more than 9 months!! My wife and I purchased this useless piece of garbage to replace a similar product under the auspices that it being an electrolux must be of high quality. Immediately I noticed that the vacuum was extremely difficult to pull backwards on a carpet, as though the wheels do not work. Then after the third use the spinning mechanism on the bottom stopped working because hair got stuck in the bottom. It was relatively easy to remove, but now every third time we use it, we have to perform minor surgery on this piece to remove the hair. We live in a 1 bedroom apartment, we're not talking about a significant amount of usage.
Absolutely the worst vacuum I have ever owned! Do yourself a favor and do not buy this vacuum!
