Product Reviews of EL1012A Ergorapido Hand VacuumProduct Review: Awesome Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this to replace the one my wife took when she moved out. Loved the last one and this works great on my hardwood floors and Persian rug. I have a two year old who is constantly dragging dirt and leaves inside. This is wonderful to grab and clean up real quick. You can't vacuum your carpets with this, but wood or tile floors and rugs are perfect for this.
Product Review: Awesome for hard surfaces, not too great for carpets Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this vacuum cleaner about 2 months ago and I am extremely satisfied with it. I have only hard floors (wood + tile) in my house. I bought it mainly to deal with my labrador's hair, and I cannot complain. Having used for 2 months, I am ready to give my feedback - the good and not so good.
GOOD:
1. Very light and moves smoothly on hardwood/tile floors - even kids love to vacuum the floors now.
2. Extremely good at picking up dog hair - single pass cleans the floor
3. Very easy to empty the canister - no need to touch the filter/inside of the canister
4. Fairly quiet (compared to fullsize vacuum cleaners)
5. Charges pretty quickly - and the run time is enough for me to clean my floors
6. Does NOT scratch the floor
7. Looks pretty
Not So Good:
1. Doesn't move that smoothly on rugs (assume carpets have the same problem) - doesn't pickup hair off the rugs
2. Doesn't do a great job of pickup up small crumbs off the floor - need to run it a few times to pick them all up
3. No tool to clean the brush (however, easy to pull out the brush, take a knife and cut all the "long women's"
hair that gets stuck)
My main purpose is dog-hair and hence I am very satisfied with this. I had Swivel Sweeper in the past but the battery died after a year of use. I tried Shark V3 but returned it after 2 weeks as it did a lousy job of picking dog hair.
Product Review: Best I have found! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this little stik vac to take care of my laminate floors and it has not disappointed me at all. I have tried a shark cordless vac, a swivel sweeper (which was good, better on carpet) and just doing it with a broom and dust pan. This vac does not catch and drag grit under it with the possibility of scratching the floor. It works on carpet and the best part is the little hand vac on board. You can just pop it off and do the edges around doors or hard to reach spots. With the other vacs you had to go get a dustbuster and come back to do it and then go replace it in its' charger. Don't let the price stop you!! Worth every penny and I would re-order it in the future if needed!
Product Review: Best floor cleaner I ever bought Summary: 5 Stars
This is by far the best floor cleaner I've ever bought. I have a small house, mostly hard wood, some tile, little bit of carpet and some area rugs.
This vac is great for running around and keeping up after the cat and two kids. I have been so frustrated with living in crumbville and now I feel I can keep it under control without breaking my back or a major sweat. Great for picking up kid crumbs and pet hair! Does furniture quick and easy too with the easy pop out hand vac.
Agree with some of the other reviewers. If you need a deep clean and have mostly carpet this is NOT the item for you.
Product Review: Bought Several Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased the first one of these back in 2004 at the hardware store. It was perfect except that it had pads instead of rollers that would come off after some time. I would scratch my hardwood floors. By that time, it retreated to the basement for easy cleanup. I missed it so much on the main level of my house I purchased another one. A shark. AWFUL. It only lasted about 5 months and really stunk when it came to picking up small fine crumbs. This time Electrolux changed their design and had rollers. AWESOME. I purchased it and it has been wonderful. I've had the "green" colored one for almost two years, and it is still going strong. No this is not a regular vacuum as I have a Rainbow Vacuum, but after dinner, it is perfect to clean up the kitchen and run over the rest of the house. I have a cocker spaniel, three year old, and a wonderful hubbie who ALL take off their shoes or clean their feet prior to entering the house. But of course, we still get little stuff inside.
To show you how much I love this vacuum, I purchased one for my mother in law, and a friend of ours who lets us stay at her cabin in Washington. Then years later, I tried to talk my parents into buying one and they never would, so for xmas I purchased one for my dad as a joke. My dad has said dozens of times that it was the best gift he ever has received. My dad has never cleaned house in his life until he retired. Now he helps my mom and she has made comments that her kitchen has never been so clean on the floor. My dad vacuums almost every day. His pet peave is when he is walking across the floor and can feel dirt. He hates that, so he vacuums for my mom. Last, I was on the computer purchasing one for my husbands grandmother. She is turning 90 and she keeps her house perfectly. I thought this would be easier for her and she would enjoy it. No I am purchasing my 6th one for myself or someone else.
Love the vacuum and will buy another one when this one dies. $100 is not that much when you look at how much I use it.
