Customer Review: Contains Myopro blend which has low grade protein

Whey Protein isolate is the highest grade protein (Biological Value at about 154 vs. 104 for Whey Protein concentrate) and unfortunately, the blend of protein in Myoplex, has a very low percentage of Whey Protein isolate, less than 10%. The BV value indicates how easy and complete the protein can be absorbed into your system. And the faster and more complete the absorption the faster and more complete your recovery after a hard workout. Also, the 1st hour after a workout is the critical absorption time, so the higher the BV, the faster you get your protein into your body to build muscle before the "door" shuts. Cleverly, on the part of EAS, they do not give you the breakdown in terms of grams or percentage of each protein type in MyoPro. They only give you the total protein in grams. You can go to their powder bottles and it breaks it down. So not the best product in terms of most usable protein by your body. But hey, at least it doesn't have any Soy because Soy's BV is about 54, one of the lowest grade proteins. Also Soy is known to have pyto estrogens. Pyto estrogen mimics human estrogen and you know you don't want that hormone, stick with testosterone please and leave the estrogen to your girlfriend(s) or the "girlie" men.
