I make one or two of these a day in a smoothie maker, with water, ice, and--here's the best part--frozen strawberries that I buy in bulk in a bag at Costco. Wow, delicious. It's even better with skim milk, but I usually prefer to skip the extra calories (and with water it's still great). Adding the frozen strawberries makes it just scrumptious. I also take two glucomannan (fiber) pills beforehand, and of course that helps to fill you up (it's something like 5x more absorbent than many other fiber supplements, and as far as I can tell, has no taste...). It's good with a banana, too, or (they say) peanut butter, but I haven't tried that one. Adding frozen blueberries (also from Costco) is also pretty good, but not as good as the strawberries.
I tried the Myoplex vanilla--meh. Even with milk it tastes pretty blah, almost chalky. Wouldn't buy it again and will probably pawn the unused packets off on a neighbor. ;)
Btw, my elderly mother tried just the chocolate powder with water, and loooooved it.
