Customer Review: Fine, with a few caveats...

This item is fine, except for a few things I'd like to point out. It is rather firm. It will flex into a gentle curve, but does not mold itself to small contours. It definitely gets moist; not dripping wet, but damp-ish. You may or may not like this. The instructions have some particular restrictions about how often you can reheat. (It's once an hour, I believe.) It's not clear whether this is for safety, or because the product actually requires this for durability or life-span. It did not work out well for us as a heat pad for headaches because of the lack of flexibility (such as found in a flaxseed-filled heat pad). It's great for backs, or as a bed warmer, or other uses that don't require it to 'drape'.
