Customer Review: Gets the Job Done

This "boot" was purchased to keep my cast and the sock / cozy I wore over it dry in wet or snowy conditions. It got the job done, and I was even able to use my bad foot to "touch down" lightly on the ground to maintain balance when getting in and out of cars, buildings, etc. The only things I didn't really like were that (a) the differences from one size to the next are significant (I ordered a small first and it was too small for my size 6 foot, so I ordered a small/medium, and it left about 2.5" of extra room inside), and (b) the design draws a LOT of attention because it has an very unusual appearance. Without meaning any kind of disrespect at all to anyone, it does happen to give the appearance of having a condition like elephantitis of the foot. (I got that comment a number of times) My advice to prospective buyers is don't be surprised when the size is off some and it seems like it's basically a sewn-up tarp with velcro closures, because that's what it is. It does keep the casted foot dry, though, and so, in the end, it did what I needed it to do.
