I've owned this brand of moist heating pad as well as another brand, and of the two, there is no comparison. The other brand was SO moist that it left my clothing wet. Who needs that? This brand heats wonderfully to whatever temp you desire, it holds the heat for a long time and it is made of high quality materials. This is my second set in about 10 years, and they get heavy usage, so I think their lifespan is quite long. I'm going to order another set to have on hand as I would dread the day that I couldn't find them again. For arthritis, these are a Godsend.
