I have learned the hard way that you do not launder these shheets in a washing machine or standard dryer. If you do they will curl severely at the edges and never again lie flat.You must do them by hand in cold water. Do not wad the sheets. I dry them
outdoors or indoors on a wooden laundry rack.

My mother who is 91 years old was so happy to have this waterproof sheeting. It fits well on the bed, keeps it dry and doesn't bunch up like one with a plastic back. I purchased two of them, one for under the sheet and one on top of the sheet. This helps me to not have to wash the sheets every day in case of an accident. The thickness of the pad enables her to sit on the bed and then I can put her legs up and help her into the bed with out it bunching up.Product Review: Good plain rubber sheeting for under sheet Protecton

this use to be available at every drug store and dept store. Now can only find the simple rubber sheet at hospital ($$) sites. These guys didn't rip you off too bad. But this is really just $4.75 item that stores quit carrying years ago.

This product did not hold up at all. After being laundered only five times it leaked in several places. It is too thin and no different than the vinyl table cloths sold at my local fabric store. Because it is slick on one side, it scrunches up underneath the invalid.Product Review: Saving Surfaces.

If you care about protection for your mattresses, when changing a baby on a couch (or other surface), for covering a chair for an incontinent person, and you can think of many more uses....this is JUST WHAT YOU NEED! I've been using these for years. They have saved me from having to replace many expensive items. They are fine as they are; however, an even larger size for on top of mattresses would be great. At present I use two on one mattress, just to cover more surface. They do not make noise (like plastic covers), they do not slip around and they offer good protection. Highly recommended.
