I bought two of these for my husband who is recovering from hip surgery. One was to be used in a regular toilet and the second one to be used in an oblong-shaped toilet. This product worked great in both toilet styles. I'm very glad we didn't decide to go with the more expensive toilet seat risers. This one worked just fine for him.Product Review: toilet seat riser

Helpful for handicapped toilet needs. Stick-on pads help stabilize it, but pads sometime fall off.
