Product Review: My grandmother loves her new toilet seat!

This product cost a little more than some of the other seat risers but is well worth the extra money. It bolts down, which is the primary reason I chose it. Some of the cheaper models simply clamp or set on the toilet, allowing the possibility of splipping or falling off. Not this one. It becomes an integral part of the toilet. Also, my grandmother had a hand painted toilet seat that she loved and we were able to use it on top of this product. The bathroom still looks like a private bathroom instead of a hospital. Finally, she didn't have a lot of room between the wall and the toilet, so the integrated handles didn't interfere with the wall like some of the metal handles would. My grandmother loves it, therefore I do too! This is a great product.Product Review: Not enough room to clean yourself.

This product is good because it bolts onto the toilet itself and the toilet seat attaches on top of it for comfort and stability. However, there's not enough room to properly clean yourself and urine and cleanser gets caught in the space between the toilet bowl and riser. It was a horrible sight when I removed this riser and saw what was under it.Product Review: SOLID AND RELIABLE

I completely agree with the earlier reviewer- unlike other elevated seats which we've seen, this is actually a thick "spacer" with long bolts that attach it between an existing toilet seat and the ceramic toilet bowl. It's rigid and sturdy and the integrated handles are spaced for easy access. Furthermore, as a practical note, the opening is much roomier than the bolt-on seats which allows more comfortable and sanitary use. This is the best solution I've seen for a raised toilet seat.
