When I have taken long trips in the past - some overseas - I've occasionally run into a problem with my left hip complaining about too much walking. But what to do when you're thousands of miles from home for support, far away from my favorite cane? I was delighted to find this lightweight yet sturdy folding cane on Amazon.com and ordered it before my last trip. Even though this time I didn't need it (see prior review of the Walking Shoes I also bought on Amazon), it was of great comfort knowing this compact cane was in my suitcase's outer pocket, ready in case I needed it. I'll never travel without it. A double benefit resulted from going through my favorite nonprofit's website at [...] as they received a small commission for my purchase through Amazon.com. A good choice all around!
