The foam is comfortable and sturdy. However - the cover is taut and if you need more relief in the center you will have to cut it or take it off. If you take it off, there will be dye stains on the white ring, so would recommend purchasing the one with the white cover.Product Review: Go big!

This pillow works fine. I am a thin person of average height so I thought the 16 inch pillow would be better than the 18 inch. The best advice I can give is go big. The 16 inch is too small even for my tiny rear end.Product Review: Very Helpful

I've had quite a bit of tailbone pain in late pregnancy, and this donut has been very helpful in alleviating the pain. It works particularly well when I'm in a chair that I'm leaning back in, since my tailbone is then in the hole in the middle. I don't use it as much at work as I thought I would because I sit at a desk and am always leaning forward. Well worth the money!Product Review: better than your can imagine
