Product Reviews of Duracell Rechargeables StayCharged AA Batteries, 4-Count

Product Review: So much cheaper than at CVS
Summary: 5 Stars

I really regret buying this exact same pack of batteries from CVS last week, but we needed batteries pretty urgently and I didn't want to buy non-rechargeable ones. This exact same pack cost me $15.99 before tax at CVS. Urgh. Will never do that again. I just ordered two packs from Amazon, which will always be my first shopping stop whenever possible.

Product Review: Some of them are DOA
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought a lot of these, I think 5 pack in the total of 20 batteries.

1 of them are dead on the spot. I was like ok ... not gonna bother to return it just for 1 battery, but then another 4 of them died within the next 4-5 months.

before someone ready to bash me saying "oh you probably used the wrong charger" blah blah blah, I have a lot of NIMH charger even Duracell's own charger. it doesn't matter what you use, when a battery is dead, its dead.

The "lucky" ones are still working just fine, that's why I think this deserves a 3 star.

Product Review: Still can get eneloops as of 4/2010
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased these a few days ago, and got the "made in Japan" white tops. I was expecting the Rayovac knock-offs so I was pleasantly surprised. They're either still out there, or Duracell is sourcing Sanyo again (hopefully!).

Product Review: Surprisingly fantastic batteries.
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been using rechargeables for years, but these are in a class of their own.

I received black top batteries, not the white top ones referred to in the previous reviews.

One pair lasted over 500 pictures in my digital camera, whereas a set of camera disposables lasted 200 and my older rechargeables only about 100. All on the same trip and similar conditions across the board in the same camera.

These are the best rechargeable batteries I have ever used. I use a La Crosse smart charger and it does a fantastic job of keeping them charged and in good shape.

It has not been long enough for me to notice any significant loss in power due to time, but I can say they keep their charge just fine for more than a month whereas my old regular rechargeables could not sit in the camera more than a few days without needing a recharge.

Hightly reccomended.

Product Review: Terrible batteries
Summary: 1 Stars

Bought 4 packages of these. After 3-4 cycles 5 of the batteries are already trash. I also bought two sets of Sanyo batteries rated at 1700mah that outlast these 2 to 1. Dont waste your money on these expensive poor quality batteries. I am dilligent about proper discharging and recharging, I tend to get much more life from batteries than most do.
