No need to have all those chemicals on your clothes and body. These may clank a little in the dryer, but they tumble them to reduce wrinkles and help dry faster. If you have alot of synthetics you may need to wash and dry them seperate, but otherwise these are great. They were WONDERFUL for baby clothes. I am not sure why some reviewers were so critical of the success others are having with them!
