This product is only ok. It didn't come previously assembled but was easy to put together and didn't require any tools. The straps on the pedals are really small; I have tiny feet, a size seven, and I can't get my feet on them when I wear my sneakers.
Works all right; setting the tension is nice. I've had a little problem with it rocking like the pedals are attached loosely, but this just causes me to firm up my muscles to hold things in place, which I guess will improve my strength. I haven't had trouble with it moving like some reviewers have reported, but I use it on carpet. Nor is there a squeak or smell when I use it.
All in all, OK for the price. It's cheap and adequate, but not great.
Product Review: Knee therapy warm up

I had ACL reconstruction last October (2010). I use the pedal exerciser to warm up my knee and leg before doing my exercise routine. I use it 2-3 times a day for 15-20 minutes. It really helps me with my range of motion. I use it on the carpet because it slides on hardwood or tiled floors. It's cheap and it does the trick for me! Remember to check with your doctor before purchasing.
