Purchased this item after my wife's back surgery and prior to her coming home from the hospital. The item was so easy to assemble, accomodating to the bed unit, and most of all, "assisted my wife in getting up from a lateral position." Moreover, the price was outstanding!
I did have to "drill" additional punch holes in the sliding bar (factory had 5 holes already punched), so that the height of the handle could be adjusted at more levels, making it even better for grabbing onto and "pulling" support.
Don't "pass up" this item....you will be happy you purchased it. The results were definitely remarkable!

The Drive Medical Home Bed Assist Handle is designed to give you assistance for getting in and out of your home bed. The rails height can be adjusted from 13.5" to 16.5" tool free for your comfort. The rail simply sides under the mattress and is held in place by " no slip foam" on the base bar. The rail can be used on either side of the bed. The handle is covered in foam for added comfort.
