I quickly received the Drive Medical transport chair. After assembling the various pieces I could not adjust one of the leg/foot rests. I wrote to the company to get a replacement part but I have not heard back from them. The beige plaid chair print is cute and unusual. Not the usual "institutional" black color of many wheelchairs. I still wait to hear about a replacement for the faulty leg rest.
Description of Drive Medical FW19DB Fly-Weight Transport Chair, 19 Inch, Tan Plaid
The Designer Fly-Weight Transport Chair is from Drive Medical, one of the country's fastest growing manufactures of Durable Medical Equipment. The all aluminum frame chair weighs only 19 lbs., which is 30% less than a traditional transport chair, while maintaining a weight capacity of 300 lbs. The seat width is 19". The deluxe back release allows the back to fold down for easy storage and transport. The footrests swing away and are easily removed. The chair comes with a seat belt for added safety. Maintenance free composite 8" wheels are on the front and rear making it easy to maneuver the chair. There is a convenient carry pocket in the back for storage of personal items. The upholstery is soft plush tan plaid nylon. The frame is black. The chair is covered by a limited lifetime warranty.Manual Wheelchairs
