I purchased this seat cushion as a new attempt to find one that would be comfortable for my mom who due to her age, sits most of the day in her recliner. After several weeks of use, this is a great seat cushion. She has felt no presure on both her tail bone, her bottom and specially her legs. One of the problems with cushions is that the edges are rough or hard. After sitting for a long time, her legs would start to hurt or circulation cut off since most cushions only address the tail bone and bottom pressure points. This cushion does not create any pressure points period. The reason for a 4 is that she does tend to slip somewhat when sitting down since the cover is nylon and slipery. Otherwise, it is a great cushion.
