Like others, I use this for sinus problems and migraines. I've never used it heated as I mostly enjoy the scent and pressure.
A word of warning though: One of my cats loves the combination of eucalyptus and mint. It was a stronger reaction than she gets from catnip. She sucked on my first one so much, now I need another. Even with that shortening of shelf life, it was well worth the low cost. I only hope they start making refills available.
