My wife and I have tried several different masks (because I am too lazy to get dark curtains). I don't know what it is about these but they really work amazingly well. The nose contours make it so the nose doesn't get too much pressure (which makes light leak in for other masks). And the cup over the eyes keeps your eyelashes from hitting. And the velcro on the back, never had any problems with it coming off. Other said they feel the bump, but we haven't.
Really was thinking about getting these for my entire family for xmas. Kinda weird, but they are just that good.
So go get em!

i bought this mask with a little skepticism, i have used sleep masks before and never really liked them. i found out with this mask that it was the pressure on the eyes. the eye pockets take all the pressure off the eyes and you can open them with out your lashes hitting the mask. i have a large head and face yet still this mask is very comfortable the only reason it did not get 5 out of 5 is that at the nose a little sliver of light gets through. however for a $7 mask i can deal for the comfort and otherwise complete blocking of light.Product Review: Amazon Best Buy - Sleep Mask

I have used many sleeping masks throughout my life... some free (Airplanes) and some purchased... this is by far the best mask I have used.
This mask is Semi-Soft. It has some spring to it around the edges, so it holds well against your face. The downside is, if you are a Side Sleeper, it can bend the mask and allow light to get in.
The straps are just OK. The mask comes off in the middle of the night about once every third night. I have tried different adjustments on the velcro elastic band.
Overall, I rate this as an Amazon Best Buy. 5 Stars.
