Product Reviews of Dr. Scholl's DR6624 Toe-Touch Foot Spa with Bubbles and MassageProduct Review: Rewards! Summary: 4 Stars
This product I found to be quite rewarding for feet that need some extra TLC and the noise is tolerable (I've tried another and it was atrocious--plus didn't work that well). I did soak my feet for about ten minutes and felt quite a difference!
Thank you Dr. Scholl!
Product Review: Save your money worthless, will not cover foot Summary: 1 Stars
Where do I start? There are 3 operation positions, 'Vibrating Massage with Smart Heat and Bubbles', 'Vibrating Massage with Smart Heat' and 'OFF'. OFF is the best position for this thing.
I have a small foot for a man size 9 and the water does NOT come close to covering the foot even 'without' any of the silly rollers snapped in. The snap in rollers are not motorized and are just nobby bumps that you roll your arch against BUT if you use the rollers it holds the foot almost out of the water and if you don't use the roller your foot blocks the few openings for air bubbles are blocked. Water depth is LESS than a 'inch and a half' at the arch with the foot blocking the bubble holes!!
So, forget about the 'smart heat' thing, you have to use warm water to start with (which is no big deal) because it's less than 3 quarts to fill the tub for both feet. Your toe tips may be all that is underwater and if you want the bubbles you must raise the foot to NOT block the openings for the bubbles that ONLY run down the middle of the foot.
There is no churning and water agitation, just a little vibration and some bubbles but lots of noise. There is a warning to never run the unit over 20 min with 10 min being typical. The so called 'Smart Heat' is worthless and I immediately noticed a drop in temperature (I was using Smart Heat with bubbles and vibration.
The water fill line is a white raised line on a white background and is easier to find by feeling because I couldn't see it. Not a big deal once you learn but does indicate a thoughtless design.
The damning thing is, it DOESN'T even cover your foot, drops in temperature and any 'massage' effect is in my opinion a plectra effect. This is beyond worthless and I expected much better from the company who NOW is selling an update version that looks like it still may have the depth and bubble placement problem but I will NOT purchase the new unit.
Some may say what do you expect at the price? I expect something that at least resembles a foot spa as the name suggests.
I sawed off the power cord and it's now in the trash. You are better off using a deep container and filling it with warm water and forget all this 'puffery'...
Typically I'm very forgiving in my reports but NOT this one. Yes, I'm angry.
Product Review: Somewhat Disappointed Summary: 3 Stars
Have had this for 2 weeks. First use, OK, felt good, nice bubbles but the attachments for the top didn't connect tight enough to stay on when you ran your foot over it. The attachment for inside the tub felt uncomfortable. Second use, felt good until I turned on the bubbles, not working on right side. It does keep the water warm. Now I have a foot spa from many years ago, no bells, no whistles just bubbles- it splashes all over the floor, is big & heavy plus water gets cold in minutes so you bale out & pour in hot water to keep it warm. The Dr. Scholl's is small, light weight but big enough for hubbies size 12 feet & comfortable to use if you just want to soak your feet with vibration plus water does stay warm. The foot control is an added plus, electrical cord is long enough, cleaning ability OK.
Product Review: Sooo relaxing!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I enjoyed this foot spa very much, because it stays warm for a while, you can use bath salts, and the bubbles feel great. Although if you turn in the bubbles it doesn't stay as warm as with the vibrations. I recommend this product.
Product Review: Soothing. Summary: 5 Stars
I liked how the system kept the water warm, and the fact that I can have a massage and get bubbles at the same time, that was also a plus, others can usually only do one or the other,I didn't have to give up on one. I would recommend this to anyone thats interested. I'm also a Cosmetologist,if that helps them make a decision. And the attachements go on and off easily. Hope this helped you make up your mind.Dr. Scholl's DR6624 Toe-Touch Foot Spa with Bubbles and Massage
