Customer Review: A very soft toothbrush for sensitive gums

We used to buy a Japanese brand of toothbrush when we were living overseas and were very disappointed to not be able to find something similar in stores here in the US. Dr. Collins Perio toothbrush is as close as we have been able to find anywhere and possibly even better than what we were using before. The bristles are extremely soft, as our dentist has recommended, and they seem to get below the gumline and clean between the teeth better than any toothbrush you'll find in the store. I have a permanent retainer affixed to my front teeth, top and bottom and this toothbrush makes up for the fact that I can't floss very well between the wires.
This toothbrush is a definite need for anyone with senstivie gums or gum disease. They are a tad pricy, but the bristles don't wear out or fall out as fast as they do in a typical toothbrush. We just sterilize them once a month in hydrogen peroxide and they seem to last forever. We bought kid-sized versions for our children too. The gentle clean is well worth the cost in my opinion, as keeping your teeth and gums healthy is worth every penny!
