The dorsal PF splints are so much cooler and more comfortable than the usual splints. Also, you can walk with them on, so it's great if you or your dogs need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night because you don't have to take them off and on, and you don't wake up your bed partner with the noise of Velcro.
The negative is that the fabric stretches, and as it stretches, the angle of your foot with respect to your leg gets less than optimal.
That being said, they're still more acceptable than the usual splints. It's better to use these most of the time than use the others (because they are so annoying) some of the time.

Dorsal PF Night Splint provides a gentle stretch to the plantar fascia and calf musculature to help relieve heel pain associated with plantar fasciitis. Firm plastic shell places the foot in neutral, while the neoprene straps hold the splint securely in place. Walking is not a problem with the plastic-free bottom unlike most other plantar fasciitis splint you can buy. Our Dorsal PF Night Splint is easy to apply. Simply adjust the toe strap once, slip your foot in and strap it on. Constructed of latex-free foam and attached neoprene calf and toe straps. Fits right or left.
